Amy Banasik, MS, CCC-SLP

Amy received her master’s degree in speech-language pathology from the University of Wisconsin – Madison. She completed her clinical training at the UC Davis MIND Institute. Amy’s previous research experience focused on language development in children and adolescents with neurodevelopmental disorders including autism spectrum disorder, fragile X syndrome, and Down syndrome, with a special interest in developing parent-implemented language interventions. She most recently worked as a pediatric outpatient speech language pathologist where she evaluated and treated children from birth to age 18 with varying diagnoses. Amy is excited to be a part of the RIDDL lab and return to the world of research focusing on language development and cognition in individuals with neurodevelopmental disorders.
